happy father's and new puppy day

today is a really cool day...
why you might ask...
because...
we got a puppy!!!
aw and its really really cute. its a black and light gray lab mix. she's a girl (although we haven't decided on a name yet) and we get to pick her up wednesday from the spca. theyve gotta give her all her shots and neuter her and such.
but woo hoo! this is so thrilling for me (well...for all of us) because i've always wanted a dog. always! and it kinda sucks that it took so damn long but at least now carly and i are old enough to do most of it all on our own...like potty training (eek!) and such.
timing ain't as nice since we leave for galveston for a week on sunday :-/...but thats ok. it will be nice. and it will be nice to come back to.

woke up and came home and went to church. came back and gave my dad a super nice shirt and a pair of shorts for father's day. went out to eat @ chilis where i got to see lil jessamyn!!! OH! another highlight of the day: chilis might need a hostess!!! so i'm going to go in tomorrow for an interview. i know i've probably already jinxed myself 50 times over and although i have really high hopes i bet i wont get the job...but eh oh well. at least im trying.
ok so after chilis we came home and changed and went to the Houston SPCA and looked at all the cute puppies and finally decided on the lil beauty. then we ran by the express where i got my dads shorts so he could exchange them for a different size. then we came home and i cleaned and such.
now we're going to go to the pool for just a lil while and then come back for dinner.
tonight im going to a movie w. the infamous chrisopher marco!!! yay. i havent seen that kid in a very long time. and im very excited.
jeremy was kinda being weird today and i didnt really know what to think of all of it. i love that boy so much. and i hate that i read in to stuff more than i should...and i make myself sometimes see things that arent there. create unnecessary tension. i dunno. it was just...weird.
but i think everythings ok now. i dunno...im so scared of losing him sometimes that im never sure of anything.
blah. ok that was all done very quickly because now were going for a quick swim!!!
