hi...
not really in the mood to update. so sorry!
tonights been nice. minus choir practice. lol but i left early...so it wasnt too horrible.
i emailed my grandma tonight. that was fun! and i replied to other emails. thats the most emailing ive done in a very long time.
my dad has agreed to pay for my letter jacket. it totaled almost $165...and thats how much my class ring cost. and my mama paid for that. so although my mama already put my jacket on her credit card...he has officially agreed to pay for it. so yay! if he wasnt going to...i was planning on paying for most of it myself with paychecks or what not. i didnt find it very fair for her to pay for both my class ring and my letter jacket.
but finally...my own letter jacket! woo hoo.
lol im glad that when i voice my opinion about something or show concern/get upset about something...im 'freaking out' or 'complaining' or what not. but yet when other people get all heated up about something and complain and what not...theyr completely justified to do so. yeah...theres some consistency.
i hate hypocrisy.
we were talking about the bush thing and his proposal for an amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman today during advisory.
marriage under the law is not marriage under religion or under God. and gay marriages dont affect anyone else. so what makes them so 'wrong?' just because its different...unfamiliar? i hate ignorance and close mindedness. i think that a minister/priest as every right to turn away a gay couple for marriage because of religious beliefs. but what ever happened to separation to church and state? a courthouse should not be legally allowed to turn away a gay couple from legal marriage under the law. the entire US does not live by the bible. nor are all gay couples looking for marriage under God. so why cant they be offered the same economic security/stability of straight couples? it doesnt hurt anyone...it doesnt interfere w. anyone else or their marriages.
i just think its dumb.

today is ash wednesday. i dont know what im giving up yet. although im not technically required/encouraged to give anything up...i like to. but i gotta pick something. im thinking it might be ice cream. not sherbert...just ice cream. ice cream is my weakness. lol.
crappy choir concert tomorrow night. get excited! lol. agh. choir this year is not fun. or fulfilling.
just alot of extra work.
i got a new short story. its longer...but i like it more. something a bit more interesting.
anorexic people dont have boogers because they dont have the thing in their body to produce the mucus needed for boogers. lol just a little factoid i attained from 'bobby'...lol the perceptions guy. but im sure julianne and barbara already knew that lol.
ok...time for me to go blow dry my hair and such. i should probably do a bit of reviewing for pre cal...but im more interested in reading. i love reading! im glad ive alotted time for myself to read lately. its...nice.
